• Bacopa monnieri, also known as Water Hyssop or Brahmi, has been chosen to work with the Rhodiola on the mental side of the equation. • Eleutherococcus senticosus, also known as Eleuthero, has a very long history of use as an energy tonic, and along with Rhodiola, it was selected by the Soviets for use on their athletes and soldiers during the cold war years when adaptogens really came under study. • Schizandra chinensis, also known as Schisandra or Five Flavor Berry, is a tonic herb developed from the berries of a vine which Verde Botanica harvests in the eastern part of Russia.
